- Coached in stroke clinics for the LMSC of Virginia in Richmond as part of the USMS program on swimming clinics.
- Acted as coach on deck at several USMS National Competitions.
Harry's primary focus in coaching is to train techniques, develop swimmers and prepare swimmers for competition.
He has focussed on both swimmers and on triathletes.
He believes swimmers should experience a variety in workouts but should always concentrate on proper techniques.
Practices should be mixtures of drills, easy swim to practice techniques, distance for endurance development
and short speed sets to develop speed. There should be a seasonal program to accomplish those goals.
