Julie Heyde - Evening and morning Coach
Julie Heyde is the newest addition to the RAM coaching staff. She has a strong swimming background with coaching experience as a Coaching Assistant for the Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving program at NC State University. In addition, she has coached high school, age group, and adult competition in Raleigh and Massachusetts. She is currently the Director of Operations at NC State University in the Track and Field.
Julie has her Masters of Education in Higher Education Administration from NCSU and she is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Boston College where she was a member and captain of the track and field teams for the Eagles. In 2000, Julie was selected as the recipient of the Doug Flutie Award for athletics, academics and community service.
RAM is fortunate to have attracted such a superb individual as our full-time evening coach.
Sue Haugh - Sunday morning
Sue has a B.S. degree from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Meredith College. Sue swam for NC State and preferred distance and Individual Medley. She still has as her favorite events distance freestyles. Sue coaches Sunday and Monday mornings. She is a strong believer in technique, keeping the workout upbeat and building endurance. Workouts tend to be imaginative and fun and you will work hard.
Steve Weatherman - Saturday morning
Steve Weatherman is a graduate of Wake Forest University, and swam as an age grouper with the powerful High Point Swim Club. When not coaching on-deck, Steve keeps fit by training with RAM. Steve has an outstanding backstroke and frequently swimmers will witness how almost any stroke given for a workout will resemble the backstroke when he is swimming.
