Kernersville Masters Swimming (KMS)

Kernersville Masters Swimming just started in January of 2001 in the new YMCA facility. Kernersville Masters Swimming is conviently located in the heart of the Piedmont Triad. The team is being coached by Karen Manning who is the Associate Aquatic Director and Coach at Kernersville YMCA's pool.   

Kernersville Masters Swimming (KMS) is a chapter of the large state club, North Carolina Masters Swimming (NCMS).  Team members who compete within the state swim for KMS, and outside the state for NCMS.

Pool Description

KMS trains at Kernersville Family YMCA in their new facility. It is an 8 lane, 25 yard pool with competitive non-turblent lane lines and starting blocks.

Practice Times

11:30am -> 1:00pm Monday through Friday
6:00am -> 7:30am Monday through Friday (optional practice)

Costs

• Registration - $25 for USMS/LMSC fee. You will find registration forms on this web page to register for KMS. Please make the $25 check to LMSC for NC.
• Monthly Charges - $30/month for YMCA members, $50/month for non-YMCA members

Kernersville Family YMCA is located at 1113 West Mountain Street. From I-40 Business East, take Exit 10 (Linville Road). Take a right off exit ramp ant then another right at the first stop light onto West Mountain Street. Drive 4 miles and YMCA will be on the right

USMS registered swimmers can swim with KMS for a $4.00 fee.
